Mark Helou

Mark Helou is the Director of Ergostasio. With over a decade of experience in engineering R&D, he leads projects that drive economic, social, and environmental benefits for Western Sydney. He has experience across a wide variety of industries such as Biomedical, Defence, Rail and Automotive, as well as expertice in technologies including CNC Machining, Fabrication, Additive Manufacturing, and Sheet Metal.

Mark holds a PhD in Manufacturing Engineering and Management and a Bachelors Degree in Mechatronics and Robotic Automation from UNSW, where he received the Dean's Award for his PhD research in additive manufacturing. His work has been published in leading academic journals, reflecting his expertise and collaboration with top research teams.

Dedicated to advancing additive manufacturing, Mark focuses on enhancing advanced manufacturing capabilities in Western Sydney. He is passionate about solving complex problems and driving innovation across various industries.
